Offered for sale is a charming little Grimwade's demi-tasse coffee cup & saucer in the Nancy pattern. Decorated in springtime theme of greenery and daffodils.
Royal Winton is an English brand of earthenware and fine bone china tableware, made by Grimwade's Limited, a Stoke-on-Trent based company founded by Leonard Lumsden Grimwade and his elder brother, Sidney Richard Grimwade, in 1885. Pieces are marked with either name, or both. The backstamp an this item was used from 1934 until 1950.
The saucer measures 120mm in diameter, the coffee cup measures 59mm in height and 65mm in width.
Excellent condition. No chips, cracks, or signs of restoration.
