Offered for sale is "The Hunting Man" plate one of the nine character plates in the Royal Doulton "The Professionals" seriesware collection. This version is numbered D6282, the hunting man in this version is depicted wearing a red jacket, yellow waist coat and a blue striped cravat. The D6XXX series firing was produced between 1948 and 1960.
