Royal Doulton "The Doctor" D6281 Rack Plate

Offered for sale is "The Doctor" plate one of the nine character plates in the Royal Doulton "The Professionals" seriesware collection. This version is numbered D6281, the doctor in this version is depicted wearing a green jacket with gold trim and a blue striped cravat. He is wearing a black tricorn hat and is holding a cane. The rim is a white ground decorated with coloured books and apothecary items. The D6XXXX series firing was produced between 1948 and 1960.
