Pair of Gilbert & Sullivan "First Nights" Wedgwood Collectors Mugs c.1964 & Two Royal Worcester Plates

Offered for sale is a pair of large Gilbert & Sullivan collectors mugs by Wedgwood c1964 along with two plates by Royal Worcester, one "Mikado" and one "Lord Chancellor" from "Iolanthe". The mugs are decorated with vignettes of their operetta's and embellished in pink and blue, their first nights are listed on the base. The two Royal Worcester plates are attractively decorated in shades of green on a crisp white ground with scalloped edges, the borders are decorated with stylised fans. An absolute must for the Gilbert & Sullivan aficionado's.
