Offered for sale is a lovely pair of Imperial Carnival Glass bowls in the Grape & Leaf pattern. They are of a moulded three dimensional design of grapes. leaves and vines with ruffled flowing edges. This wonderfully iridescent colour reminiscent of spun barley sugar is referred to as "Marigold". This pattern and colour was produced by the Imperial Glass Company located in Bellaire, Ohio, USA and was produced during the early part of 20th Century. Carnival glass is pressed glass with an iridescent glaze which was first produced c1908 by the Fenton and Northwood glass companies.
