This is a large, Burlington Ware Toby Jug which was made by J Shaw & Sons Ltd, known as 'Boozer'.
John Shaw & Sons Ltd were established in 1920 at the Drewery Works in Longton making ornamental and table wares. They traded as Burlington ware which later became known as Burlington Art Pottery.
