German Lustre Glaze, Musical Beer Stein

Offered for sale is a most jolly little item in the form of a musical beer stein. The decoration in relief is a typical Tyrolean scene of a hunter returning to his mountain home with his dog, and a duck for the table. When lifted the stein plays a tune. The tune is "The beer barrel polka" otherwise known as "Roll out the barrel". The music was composed by the Czech musician Jaromír Vejvoda in 1927.
