"Dos Patitos" or " Two Ducks" Hand Modelled Porcelain Figure by Nao

Offered for sale is a hand modelled figurine made by Lladro and issued by Nao entitled "Dos Patito " or "Two Ducks". It features two "Aylesbury" type ducks snuggling together, one is already sleeping. It was designed and sculpted by José Roig and comes complete with the original box. As with all porcelain from Nao or their parent company Lladro, the attention to detail in this piece is superb and the use of a limited pastel colour palette gives it that signature look . Nao borrowed its name from the old sailing boats from the time of Columbus, and symbolised a return journey to origins, conveying creativity, skill and magic. This encapsulated the dream of the Lladró brothers to make porcelain figurines affordable for lovers of beauty.
