Offered for sale is a Micratex, ironstone plate by Adams entitled "Dr Syntax Turned Nurse". It is taken from the illustrations of Thomas Rowlandson to the three poems by William Combe (1741-1823). "Doctor Syntax's three tours in search of the picturesque, consolation and a wife." "Micratex" was a Trademark adopted by Adams in 1963.
