Beatrix Potter "The Foxy Whiskered Gentleman" Beswick Figure

Offered for sale is this striking figurine depicting the Beatrix Potter character, "The Foxy Whiskered Gentleman". This figure came in two versions with four variations. This particular figure is the first version, it is small (12.1 cm) and was modelled by Arthur Gredington. The first variation has a gloss finish and was issued in 1954 and ran until 2002. This Foxy fellow has the back-stamp Bp-4 which was used 1988 1989
