Art Deco Style, Wall Pocket

offered for sale is an intriguing, wall pocket, modelled as a face framed with a mediaeval or possibly Neo Classical style headdress. There are no marks or backstamps other than the initials Ctf incised on the back, but I would say by the look and feel that it is the early part of Mid 20th Century. It is finished in a metallic, pewter, almost black coloured glaze. A really lovely thing.
