Offered for sale is a lovely rococo style four footed jardinière, trough, bonbon dish, console bowl. It is richly decorated in gilded green acanthus leaves and delicate pure white roses. There are three putti tumbling around the front and a painted spray of flowers to the interior. It is not signed but, it very much in the "Dresden" style. 'The Saxon porcelain manufactory of Carl Thieme in Potschappel-Dresden', as it was known before it became known simply as the Dresden Porcelain Manufactory, was the first workshop in the city to start producing its own porcelain, rather than merely decorating the unglazed wares of the nearby Meissen factory.

As can be seen in the photo's one of the putti has sadly lost an arm and there are a few little nibbles to fingers and petals (which aren't easily noticed). Non of this detracts from it's exquisite beauty and only adds to it's infinite charm. Other than that it in pleasing condition with no cracks or chips to the main body of the piece.
