Offered for sale is a pretty little 19th Century "Meissen Style" three footed, reticulated, potpourri or covered dish. It is unusually decorated with applied hydrangea flowerheads of pink and blue with leaves in shades of green. The finial is in the form of a seated putti playing on a violin. To the base there is a blue makers mark under the glaze.
Excellent condition other than over time the gilding has rubbed away. (see photo's)
