Offered for sale are two Traditional Ware vases by Poole Pottery. Traditional Ware refers to a range of hand painted pieces in a style introduced by Truda Carter in 1921. In the 1920’s Poole continued to experiment with pottery designs that used floral and animal motifs. These were very popular and became a hallmark of Poole Pottery and has become known as their Traditional Ware. They were in production from the 1920's to the 1960's and are still very popular and highly sought after by collectors. Offered here is one squat shaped vase shape number 349 decorated in the Kp pattern. Height 100mm. The other shape 185 decorated in the Kw pattern. Height 120mm. Both bear the stamped Dolphin Factory mark no. 39 in use between 1955-59
