Offered for sale is a limited edition plate by Royal Doulton entitled "The Blacksmith". It was the first plate in the "Old Country Crafts" series.
The artist Susan Neale wrote "the glowing forge and two patient shires waiting beneath the chestnut tree, were an image i was never to forget."
