Offered for sale is a wonderful souvenir teapot and water jug made for Ringtons Ltd.
Ringtons were Tea Merchants and famous for always having commemorative wares for Royal coronations etc. They were manufactured to commemorate the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II on 2nd June 1953. The teapot looks very much like a Gibson's or Sadler teapot
The teapot measures approximately 140mm and tall 240mm from handle to spout. The water jug measures approximately 130mm tall and 160mm from handle to spout. They would be a super addition to any collection.
The condition is very good indeed. There are no chips or cracks or signs of restoration. it's pretty decent for the age.
