Limited Edition Holsten Collectors Tankard

Offered for sale is a replica of a stein made at the Magdeburg manufactory founded 1756 by Philipp Guichard which was producing outstanding fayences until the end of the 17th century. The stein is brightly decorated with stylistic palm trees with blue and yellow stripes . The pewter lid is decorated with a minted coin accompanied by the signature G.F.H 1790. The original stein is owned by the Holsten - Brauerei AG. At over 1.5kg this weighty stein comes complete with certificate of authenticity No 0181 of 1200.
