Offered for sale is this lovely glazed figure of a maternal elephant and her calf entitled "Elefante Maternal" .
Issued in 1971 it was sculpted by Fulgencio Garcia. This particular model is quite rare as it was retired in 1975. I have been unable to find another example for sale apart from one in Usa which is photographed below.
