Offered for sale is a very pretty, 19th century, hand painted bud vase decorated with a floral and gilt design on an ivory ground, by Grainger & Co, Worcester. The absence of the word ENGLAND dates it to before the McKinley Tariff Act of America in 1891.
Following the death of George Grainger in 1889 the Grainger factory was sold to Royal Worcester .
